You may want to normalize your data prior to modeling or visualizing it.
Depends on your definition of “better”. If you mean farming and getting your account to high townhall levels, then no, math does not have anything to do with it. If you mean being able to triple in high th wars (I would say starting from 12 but I am really talking about th13 and 14) then yes. Math does matter. Zaps and eq is an excellent example, but another huge factor is spatial reasoning, for instance predicting your aq’s pathing by counting tiles between buildings (yes, I am not kidding, I do do this quite often if I need to qc in an important war). And spatial reasoning is a big factor that plays part in math, so being good at maths would be correlated to being good at coc.
