It is still fresh, it is still possible to start playing, the game feels much better now than it used to be years ago, id say this is a good moment
I took a 4 year break and just recently came back I can tell you the game is still very fun
I also used to play a long time ago and came back to the game recently but started fresh and used my terribly rushed and all around terrible old acc to donate troops to my self when my clan wasn’t online. I got back to th7 in about 3-4 weeks and will be a th8 in about 1.5 weeks. The early stages are really fun because of how short the upgrades are.
