[GLITCH] someone please explain how my clan mate lost the +2 TH 2 star when his troops weren’t in range of the inferno????

  1. The range of defenses is shown in a circle or arc. The game is set up as a grid or squares. If any troop enter a square that the defenses can “see” they are in range.

  2. Every building has its own hit box and so does the troops. Unfortunately for the wizards, their hitbox was in the max range of the inferno tower. This means that the wizard’s hitbox hit the circle or radius of maximum range of the inferno tower.

  3. Super unlucky. Ranges are sometime funny especially for larger troops with a more ambiguous hit box. I’d say that that is a “VAR” moment where the wizards arm hair was in an offside position which caused the inferno to attack. Brutal though

  4. It actually did slip in range.

    And its one of those things where I swear the troops have in their AI a routine that looks for ways to put themselves in range of defenses. That wiz coming in did a sidestep that it did not have to, it did not move it close to the target, the difference was it put it in range of the inferno where if the wiz had just continued straight line it would not have been. (Note, I dont think you got gypped out of anything though, I think that only changed what killed the wiz)
