  1. So this just happened a few minutes ago. I thought that Supercell fixed the problem where the seeking air mine retargets when the initial target dies but this proves otherwise.

    Also to prove that the initial target was not the e-drag: the seeking air mine has an activation radius of 4 tiles and the E-Drag was 5 tiles (2 walls and a storage) away from the mine.

  2. To me it makes sense that when the balloon is deployed but his target dies that he automatically looks for a new one.

  3. It is normal. That’s why it’s called seeking air mines. They re-target when the unit that activated it dies right after. So, the trigger radius doesnt matters if it has already been triggered
