not a glitch, they are targeting a specific bat and get the shot off while it is still in range. because the bats move so quickly, the bats move while the shot is in the air and therefore the shot follows the bat because it is supposed to hit a specific bat. similar interactions can happen with other thing in the game, like seeking air mines travelling extended distances or any ranged cc troop doing the same thing here
