The idea of the Kraken is from wayyy before pirates of the Caribbean and is a common inclusion in pirate stories and movies, originally being a Scandinavian(?) myth. It’s not from pirates of the Caribbean, it was used in it.
With that said, I do believe that the tentacle there is indeed referencing the Kraken, although we have no way of actually knowing and all we can do is speculate.

People worried about you saying “from pirates of the caribbean ” like that isn’t the most famous iteration of the Kraken.
Both movies it was in made over a billion dollars.
