Blimp full of loons + 3 clones + 1 rage + warden ability = Mass destruction. I was told to go for a 2 star due to a mismatch but this got me the 3 star.

The lone feature of having a 20% discount on everything makes it worth it. The bonus of having other magic items such as runes makes it an even easier decision.
As a F2P player, I think you’ll have just as much fun without the gold pass, just gonna take longer

I hate buying in app purchases in mobile games, i never do it its a waste of money. BUY THE GOLD PASS, clash is free anyways and gold pass makes the game 10000x more fun and its only £5! Seriously im not joking im th7 its sooo good. The devs deserve the support
Depends on what you feel is ‘worth it’.
**As a F2P-player:** I have been a free-to-play player for many years and it never stopped me enjoying the game. I’m still playing it and I still play almost all my accounts free. They progress steadily and my fun comes from playing. If your goal is only to have fun with the game, then you don’t need the gold pass.
**As a gold pass users:** I have bought the gold pass since January 2021 every month for my highest account and been tracking it’s progress. The 20% boost on everything makes me progress much faster. I think after 3,5 months of gold pass, I have shaved off months off my upgrade time, also because of all the extra bonusses on top of the 20% (and to be honest hammer jam, but that’s not in the gold pass). If your goal on top of having fun is getting to a maxed out TH14 faster, then yes, it is worth it.
I haven’t spent any money on the game in years and still have lots of fun.
For $5? Absolutely. You get TONS of value not only in items, but % based discounts etc.
