  1. I’m assuming that you’re the attacker and as a th10 it might be your first time seeing something like that but it’s a really common occurrence. Ranged units, wizards especially, tend to walk really far from the closest target and usually die doing so.

    It’s not technically a “glitch” since the underlying reason causing the weird targeting is intentional, essentially most ranged units have a really high “random” factor applied to their targeting (not exactly sure why) which overrides the closest target fairly often, leading to results like what you posted.

    It’s pretty annoying but it’s unlikely that SC will change it since they changed it to this a few years back and they seem to be fine with it.
